On March 7, the United States Labor Department reported that the national unemployment rate is 6.7 percent for the month of February, an increase from 6.6 percent in January and the U.S. economy created 175,000 jobs in February, according to a Reuters report on March 7.
"I am glad the unemployment rate is still low. It is good that more people are working," said Ron Langer.
The unemployment rate has decreased since the Great Recession. Economists and working people hope the unemployment rate stays low.
