U.S. Marines urinate on corpses of Taliban fighters

Thursday Jan. 12, 2012 – Afghan President Hamid Karzai condemns a video of U.S. Marines urinating on the dead bodies of Taliban fighters has gone viral today on youtube.com

The video has been taken off many media websites such as reddit.com, although remains on popular youtube.com.  However, to access the video, the online user must have their own youtube account, in which you log in and you are allowed to stream the video.

President Karzai announced in a presidential statement as the viral video was described as “completely inhumane.”

The U.S. marines who have conducted this act apparently are no longer serving in Afghanistan and have not yet been identified in public.

It is things like this that are not helping the current state of an economically struggled country that already has concerned relations among many countries.  This event is ridiculous, and leaves a poor impression not only among the individuals, but U.S. Marine Corps, and even the American community at large.

It is truly a failure on the representation of our country’s military personnel, and only hurts the impression of the American community in a time that can only be held as fragile as we become more and more technologically advanced, advanced to destroy the very planet we live on multiple times in a row.

Nothing ever good comes from urinating on a dead body.
