A U.S. drone strike has killed 13 in a wedding party. According to NBC News on Dec.12, the U.S drone fired missiles into a Yemen wedding convey, killing at least 13 people in that wedding party, but the count is now at 15.

There are no immediate reports on just who was killed in the drone missile strike, but burnt out cars with charred bodies are what remains of the wedding convey, which the U.S. military mistook for an Al Qaeda convey.

Conflicting reports put Al Qaeda militants traveling with the wedding party. The attack took place in the city of Radda, which is the capitol of Bayda province. Initial reports of causalities was at 13, but according to All Voices, the body count from this strike is now at 15.

A military official said the initial information coming from that area is that the drone mistook the wedding party as militants from Al Qaeda. Tribesman that are known to the villagers were among the people killed in the drone attack.
