Timothy Geithner
According to ChinaGate, among the 23 experts in the survey, 17 said they believe U.S. equities post great risks to China's economy. The purpose of Geithner's trip is to try to convince the U.S.'s biggest creditor that its huge holding of bonds is safe.

...the United States may export its deepening crisis to China by printing U.S. dollars uncontrollably.
the Americans are not going to reduce the speed of printing dollars.
Meanwhile, the economists are advising China to expand its investments on tangible and strategic materials such as grain, energy and mineral resources (as it is already doing all over the world.) It is being recommended that China use neighboring countries in Asia as its new investment destination.
