Best Value Schools.com published a list of the top 25 schools to earn a Business or Economics degree based on the return of investment (ROI). The list includes two top research schools in Michigan:

University of Michigan ranked #16 with a 30 year average net ROI of $901,400.

Michigan State University ranked #23 with a 30 year average net ROI of $698,300.

Best Value Schools used the research by the Center for World-Class Universities at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which published its list of Academic Ranking of World Universities in 2013. The ARWC uses research performance as one of the primary indicators in their findings.

Best Value Schools used the ARWC's data and ranked the list according to a 30 year net ROI according to Payscale.com.
