Fall may seem quite a ways off this second week in May, but the performing arts series at Northern California’s two leading University of California campuses have set their schedules and both include plenty of jazz.
Highlights include Cassandra Wilson celebrating Billie Holiday and a Chick Corea-Herbie Hancock double bill, both in Berkeley; and Davis performances from Cyrille Aimée, Gregory Porter and Brad Mehldau.
