Tyrese Gibson remembers Paul Walker on ‘Arsenio’

Actor and musician Tyrese Gibson appeared on “The Arsenio Hall Show” Monday night where he discussed among many things the tragic passing of co-star and friend Paul Walker. It was the first sit down interview for the “Fast & Furious” and “Transformers” star since Walker's untimely death late last year which he revealed hit the cast and crew hard.

“I was just with him 4 days before it happened, we were on the set shooting and you know that, that was, it was just a lot of shock and trauma for the family and all of us involved because he’s just such a nice guy. And I’ve never been depressed in my life but I was very sad and down and it took me a minute to shake it. “

Arsenio gifted the studio audience with “Fast & Furious 6” DVDs and reminded everyone how a portion of the sales benefits Walker’s Reach Out Worldwide charity. Gibson told of how the foundation helps people affected by natural disasters and wants Walker remembered for his altruism.

“He was raising money the day that he died and we just want to keep his memory and his legacy and what he stood for going.”

Gibson was also the musical guest with his band TGT which also features fellow crooners Ginuine and Tank. The group performed their hit “I Need”.
