When it comes to hair whether it’s long, short, wavy, straight with bangs or colored in multi highlights super model Tyra Banks has worn it all.
The America’s Next Top Model show creator and host is now in a battle of suing 10 wig companies who are using Tyra’s name and image to sell various wig styles on the websites without her permission.
According to TMZ, Banks has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County against the companies that make the wigs claiming the wig companies are biting her name, photography, image and identity as well as her trademark.
With a little research and the help of Google here are a few sites that I found using Banks photo and name to sell the style type of wig hair Tyra has worn “Ali Express”, “Wigsale cheap and “Celebrity Style Wigs. There is no quote or word from any other online sources if these particular wig websites are of the 10 in the lawsuit that Banks is suing over.
According to TMZ several pages of the lawsuit are spent on spelling out how valuable her trademark is because she's a huge star ... and to prove it her IMDB profile -- all 11 pages -- are attached to the suit as Exhibit A.
Tyra Banks is one of the world’s most beautiful women and she has had her fair share as a super model of sporting various hair looks over the years. She even covered the subject of weaves, wigs and hair extensions to great lengths on her daytime talk show “The Tyra Banks Show”.
Tyra is suing for $10 million dollars in damages and an injunction to stop the sale of infringing products.
