Tyra Banks is every woman, a supermodel, 2 time winning Daytime Emmy Award winner for "Outstanding Talk Show",creator, philanthropist, producer, host and judge for America's Next Top Model and new on the roster an online magazine writer.
Since her show debuted, in Sept. 2005, Banks has dedicated her daytime show to aiding women with self esteem. Her mission is to provide avenues for others to reach their ultimate goals. Tyra says,"I’m passionate about inspiring people to fulfill their own dreams and fantasies through entertainment that is engaging, uplifting, and of course, fun! This is my dream realized.”
Tyra has 5 Emmy wins under her belt and has received 14 nominations across all Emmy categories.
This year she beat out Dr. Phil and The Doctors to take the golden Emmy.
In her acceptance speech, Banks pledged her love to the everday woman by saying:
"This is for the women out there that just do not feel beautiful that are watching TV right now that do not have time to do your makeup because you're running after your kids. I GET it. This is for the kids in high school that feel insecure when they walk onto that campus because they're surrounded by hate and...and...this is for YOU GUYS. You ROCK! We love you! Peace and love."

She is ready to kick off her new season 5 premiere of her CW talk show with a bang! On the premiere episode, airing tommorrow ( Sept. 8) she gives up her wigs, weaves and ponytails to showcase her never before seen "natural hair."
In a recent press release Tyra admits, "This season on The Tyra Show we're taking it to the next level and getting more real than ever before by encouraging women everywhere to own and rock what they've got and be proud! For the season 5 premiere, I will be doing just that - no fake hair, I'm rocking my REAL hair. This will all be going down on September 8, 2009, which we're declaring National Real Hair Day! We welcome everyone to go natural with me!"
The line up on the show should be interesting with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and a behind the scenes look at Bank's appearance on the "Gossip Girl" show.
In addition to her new season, she will start her online magazine on her website TyraBanks.com. Her topics will range from self-esteem and relationships to cover fashion. The goal is to make the topics more personal.

Wanna be on Top? In her 13th season, Tyra is still opening doors and providing girls the opportunity of a lifetime in pursuing their dreams and personal goals in modeling through challenges, fashion shows, photo shoots and more.
This season will be ANTM history in the making, as 32 semifinalists all 5'7" and under try to become America's Next Top Petite Model. The ladies will try to impress Tyra in 2 hour season premiere. It will air on September 9, at 8:00 pm ET/PT on The CW network.
According to CW, there's a girl that castrates cows, a girl who teaches runway modeling, girls who have suffered from abuse, a girl that says God wants her to be the next top model to help people, one girl who has been abducted and raped, and one who was abused physically by her mother, sent to foster care and then adopted. ( Sounds like Tyra's talk show is intertwined with ANTM.)
In addition, the first episode will highlight model selection and personal stories of the contestants. In the second hour, we will discover the Top 14 get "Tyra Make-overs." Next, we all can expect some tears, attitudes and divas to meltdown with their new looks ranging from coloring, cuts,extensions and more. So be sure to tune in to see who's who and pick your favorite petite model.

Growing up as a California girl and working her way up the ladder to become an international supermodel icon,Tyra has become a motivational leader across the country with her non profit and displaying her talents like an open book to the world.
In an effort to give back to the community, she started TZONE, an annual summer camp for teenage girls to gain independence, and enhance their personal self-esteem. Today, the organization has been changed to a grant-making organization for low-income women and girls, to build sisterhood and foster supportive female relationships, according to TZONE website.
It is clear and evident that Tyra Banks is a woman of empowerment and will continue to knock down barriers and make history with anything she touches as "Every Woman."
As Whitney Houston says in her song, "I'm Every Woman" ... "It's all in me!"

Tyra Bank is the greatest! She is gorgeous! I've always wanted to be in her show and she is so energetic and glad that she received all those recognition!
Aight imma be straight up and say that as a man i watch Top Model only cause it has good eye candy. Now as for Tyra, well any man will watch her and has been since the days of Higher Learning. So thanks for tellin me when it starts.

Feelings do not land you a job and they will not help you get a man that loves you. She wants to be a person that is all about "loving you.” However, loving you and looking natural did not help her ugly A** get her first million. She needed her big breast and those wigs to help make her a super star. Fat women do not make the covers of magazines, skinny women with lots of hair makes covers. If you love yourself you do not, need Trya blame your mother? I will make sure that my daughters love themselves no matter how they look.
First of all I have say I love Tyra Banks. I love that she is a successful black woman putting out positive image. Tyra's show tends to deal with real women issues like for example self-esteem issues that many young and older women deal with everyday. If more women value their self worth, it would be more women not accepting bad behavior and striving for success instead of waiting on man. Also I love the ideal of natural hair theme because we need to learn how to love our natural beauty as well.

This is a very good story bc I luvs tyra! Soulful nashville should stop hating on her, for her to say that she must have some issues with herself. Tyras boobs are natural if u knw so much about her u would knw that. She did lie detector test on ashw n revealed to the world they real. I love the way Tyra puts herself out there for everyone to see, flaws and all. I like the way she is not anorexic looking - she looks like a real woman. Congrats on her Emmy too! Woo-woo!
I guess you misunderstood me...Tyra has a show, America's Next Top Model. This show is not looking for the plain girl from down the street to put her on the runway as is. This show transforms the girl from down the street into a "super model". Which includes the hair, makeup and weight lost. Her two show talk about two different things, being happy with your self as you are; loving your true self and being a super model; transforming yourself into what America wants you to look like. I feel that she would not be actively pushing this movement if she was still a super model.
And noI dont have a problem with myself. I wear my hair natural not permed, unlike Trya and I dont wear makeup unlike Trya. My mother thought me how to love myself from the inside out, not Trya. Thanks Mom.
