Fourth-round pick Tyler Wilson failed to make an impression during 2013 NFL pre-season, for the little time that he spent playing, and was cut from the roster on Sunday.
However, on Monday, the Raiders decided to keep the rookie quarterback involved and assigned him to the practice squad.
If the rookie does everything right with the practice squad, and the Raiders’ current QBs that are on the roster do things wrong, Wilson might be able to come back to play for the Silver-and-Black.
The quarterback situation with the Oakland Raiders are still on a limb. Yes, Terrelle Pryor is starting week 1, but it is not a guaranteed position.
Matt Flynn, who was supposed to be the main man, did not live up to the standards that were expected of him.
Matthew McGloin is still a rookie and could still mess things up. Hopefully, he will not and good luck to him by all means.
Anyway, if any of the three that remain in the roster messes up this year, Tyler Wilson might be back on board. Who knows? He might be back on the roster later this year, if, God forbid, an injury occurs with one of the top three.
In the end, let the Raiders’ fans see some good production. Just win baby!
