This album starts off with a skit of the character WOLF being introduced to school. Jamba officially starts the album, a jumpy lo fi sounding track. Cowboy is nice melodic track over live drums. Awkward is a reflection on his first offical date with a girl. Domo23 is one of the best tracks, a happy negative track. Answer is the best track on the album, wishing for his dad to answer the phone, and his imaginary conversation with him, this is one of the most intimate tracks Tyler has ever made. Slater features Frank Ocean, it's about Tylers crazy antics to girls and people in general. Collosus is Tyler's response to Eminem's Stan. PartyisntOver/Campfire/Bimmer is a slow track that you can listen to for the vibe. IFHY, short for I fuckin hate you is yet another hate-love song. Rusty features Domo Genesis, and Earl Sweatshirt. Trashwang is like an oddfuture anthem, a great party track. Treehome95 is a elevator music sound track, more r&b than hip hop to me. Tamale is next and reminds me of how Lil Wayne's uses pure angst on his tracks. Lone ends the cd, it's a downtempo track.
Overall, Tyler amazed me on this album with it's jazzy instrumentals and conscious lyrics that you usually don't associate with his over-the-top personality. I give WOLF, 4 out of 5 stars.
