February 14, 2012 -- Tyler Perry was kind enough to lend his private jet to Whitney Houston's family. The actor offered his resources to help transport the 'I Will Always Love You' singer's body from California to New Jersey, where her funeral will be held later this week.
Tyler Perry is best known for his uplifting films about family, love, and life. There's no doubt that Perry was inspired by not only Whitney Houston's amazing voice, but her films such as 'Waiting to Exhale,' 'The Bodyguard,' and 'The Preacher's Wife.'
According to reports, Tyler rushed to the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday upon hearing of Houston's death. He then offered the family use of his private jet, and his condolences.
Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston, reportedly wants her daughter to be buried in Atlanta, where the singer owned a home. However, other members of Houston's family are fighting to have her laid to rest in New Jersey.
