The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Department has just issued a press release stating that the culprit of a bank robbery yesterday may have been the missing murder suspect, Ty Hoffman.
Yesterday at 2:01 p.m., Blaine Police officers responded to a report of a bank robbery at the TCF Bank located at 331 County Road 10 NE.
Video surveillance of the robbery showed a suspect who looked like Hoffman. He was wearing a white t-shirt, baseball hat and glasses.
This robber used a gun in his robbery and was successful in obtaining an undisclosed amount of money from the bank. However, it is believed that the money would be tainted from a security dye pack and the robber himself may also be covered with red dye.
In case you have missed this story, Hoffman is wanted in association with the deadly shooting of his former boyfriend and boss, Kelly Phillips. For more on this story, see the following link-
This case is being investigated by multiple law enforcement agencies, and the Sheriff’s Department has once again warned the public that if they do see Ty Hoffman, he should be considered armed and dangerous, and no one should try to approach him. Instead, call 911.
