Two well known figures in the professional wrestling industry are facing arrest and possible jail time both stemming from drunken driving arrests.
Former World Tag Team Champion "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton has had a warrant issued for his arrest stemming from a failure to appear on charges of driving while intoxicated back in 2002. A Judge in Jackson County, Alabama issued the warrant on January 18, 2012 as the city of Hollywood and county law officials try to adjudicate decades old cases and bring scofflaws to justice. Eaton was pulled over and arrested in 2002 and never appeared for his court date and with the clean up from the courts, a new warrant has been issued for his arrest. Eaton is facing up to a year in jail on the DUI charge and possibly more time for the failure to appear.
The ex-wife of Hulk Hogan, Linda Bollea was formally charged on Friday, January 18, 2012 in Los Angeles County, California for two counts of DUI and driving on a suspended license after her arrest in October of 2012. Bollea claims she only had one glass of wine but the effects of the drink were exacerbated because she was also taking prescription antibiotics. Bollea is facing up to a year in jail but since this is her first offense she will most likely be given a lighter sentence.
