Two UAP sightings over the course of one week in UK UFO hotspot

According to a January 17, 2012 report by Daily Mail, there were two "alien aircraft" sightings over the course of one short week in "UK's UFO hotspot" in Kent, United Kingdom. Of course, their characterization of the UFOs as "alien aircraft" isn't entirely accurate, unless they have proof that the unidentified flying objects are both alien and aircraft. Until then, what we're really talking about is six unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) observed over just two days.

It all started when a 21-year-old man named Ernestas Griksas was taking photographs outside his Chatham home at approximately 1:00 in the afternoon when he inadvertently captured two UFOs on camera. Griksas's camera caught two luminous discs flying in the sky over Kent. His UFO photo is available here.

The UFO sightings continued with Josh Cummins who spotted four bright objects in the sky as he was driving to work through Loughton, in Essex. This UFO sighting reportedly took place at 7:00 in the morning. The photo Cummins took on January 7 shows four unidentified flying objects that are virtually identical to the two UFOs photographed by Ernestas Griksas just one day earlier.

The United Kingdom isn't the only site of off-the-charts UFO activity in January 2012. Prolific YouTube poster Thirphaseofmoon has already compiled a video of the top ten UFO sightings thus far in 2012. Please watch it by launching the video on the left side of the page.

Recent reports indicate that UFO sightings have been steadily increasing. That's no surprise since nearly everyone owns a video camera or a cellphone equipped with a camera. That means people are more likely to capture their UFO sightings on video and share them on popular social media sites like YouTube. Do you think there are more UFO sightings than ever before, or just that more people are coming forward with their stories along with substantiating videos and photographs?
