EXCLUSIVE: If you see a black sedan with heavy front-end damage in the North Jersey-New York area, call police. The vehicle may have been involved in a hit-and-run on Route 4 that sent four people to the hospital -- including two young men who were thrown onto the highway.
One of the victims has serious internal injuries after being tossed onto a Route 4 divider, a law enforcement official told CLIFFVIEWPILOT.COM.
The only occupant who wasn't seriously injured was the driver, 19-year-old Amelia Sankar of New Milford, who told police the other car smashed into hers near an exit for her town, flinging it into the divider on Route 4's westbound side just after 6 a.m. Saturday. The sedan kept going, she said.
The four victims who remain hospitalized are also believed to be from New Milford, as well. For all of the identities, as well as a place you communicate with about their injuries, click HERE....
