Two teens have been arrested in connection with a double shooting where a teenage girl was killed.
On January 15 just before 11am Baltimore City police officers responded to a shooting in a pickup truck in an alley in the 3900 block of W. Mulberry Street. Once there they found 17 year old Michelle Adrian, of the 7200 block of Picnic Woods Road in Middletown Frederick County slumped over and unresponsive in the cab.
She had been shot numerous times.
A 19 year old male victim whose name is not being released, suffered graze wounds. He reported to police that he and Michelle drove to the Allendale neighborhood in southwest Baltimore to buy drugs. While waiting in the alley, 18 year old Dorrien Allen, of the 600 block of Yale Avenue came up to their 1994 pickup truck with Tennessee tags, armed with a gun and asked them if they 'wanted to die.'
The terrified teen put the truck in drive and Dorrien fired several shots inside the cab fatally striking Michelle. The male victim told investigators he watched Dorrien sneak through a hole in a fence behind the truck before disappearing. He was able to describe the shooter as an African American male wearing an orange jacket and blue jeans.
An alert officer who regularly patrols the area noticed that the description not only fit a suspect known to frequent the area, but he was seen in the area earlier wearing the same clothes. Police canvassed the blocks surrounding the crime scene and was able to locate Dorrien in the same neighborhood just a few hours later.
Both victims, who are Caucasian, were rushed to Maryland's Shock Trauma Center and Michelle was pronounced dead at 11:32am.
Charged with first and second degree murder, attempted first and second degree murder, first and second degree assault, robbery, and related weapons charges, Dorrien is being held without bail at the Baltimore Central Booking Intake Center.
No word yet on how 18 year old Tevin Hines, who was also arrested, fits into this brutal crime.
