Two Thoroughbred stallions – Storms Eye and Europe – are moving to Bare Foot Farms in Bennington, Indiana. Blood Horse released the news about Storms Eye and Europe on Dec. 18. Both horses now belong to Dean Trennepohl and Dan Hanlin.
Storms Eye is sired by Storm Cat out of Dissemble by Ahonoora. The stallion was standing for $2,500 previously but his fee has been made more accessible at $1,000 for the 2014 season at Bare Foot. Storms Eye is a seven-year-old stallion bred in Kentucky by Indian Creek, Alessandro Arcangeli and Overbrook Farm.
He is a half brother to Grade/Group I winners Leroidesanimaux [sire of Animal Kingdom] and Uapybo.
Europe is sired by Unbridled’s Song out of Zing by Storm Cat. His stallion fee has been drastically reduced from $5,000 to $1,000 in 2014, making his excellent breeding exceptionally affordable to interested breeders. Europe was bred in Kentucky by Aaron and Marie Jones. He brought $2.6 million at the 2007 Keeneland September yearling sale.
He is a half brother to Grade II victor and sire, Half Ours. Europe is a seven year old.
