Imagine your 78-year-old grandma soaring at 30,000 feet for the first time. How thrilling. How adorable.

This is the premise of one ad in British telecom company Vodafone’s latest ad campaign entitled “Firsts,” which features various ads of people doing things for the first time.

The video features two Dutch septuagenarians, An and Ria. An is a 72-year-old woman with a fear of flying and a husband who couldn’t convince her to take to the friendly skies. On the contrast, Ria, a 78-year-old thrill seeker, was married to a man with an intense fear of heights and flying, so she never took her first flight.

The two had never met but would share an extremely heartwarming “first” that is sure to touch you, too.

With memorable quips like “There will be clouds, of course. At least that’s what I’ve heard… And you fly through them,” these women embarking on the experience of a lifetime just reminds you that life is precious so live it up. And travel often. Even when you are 72.
