In Tennessee two teenagers were caught toilet papering a local principals house. The man's neighbor, Dale Bryant Farris, didn't appreciate their actions and he made sure to let them know. He fired a shot gun at the kids, twice. One of the kids, a 15 year old, was injured extensively by pellets from the gun.
The principal, who according to reports is the principal of the school that the kids involved attend, has declined to press charges against either of the kids. But Mr. Farris, 65, was not so lucky. He was arrested and held on $125,000 bond.
Franklin County Sheriff's Office spokesman Sgt. Chris Guess advised that this Halloween kids shouldn't "do anything that would cause anybody distress or make them think you might do them harm."
Sound advice. Be safe this Halloween.
