There are two new ways to get to Boston's Logan airport. This will eliminate travelers' need to rely on public transportation, especially since there is no direct transfer from the blue to green line due to construction. Both options are also cheaper than cab fare to and from the airport.
The first option is a shuttle van operated by Super Shuttle, which is a door to door shuttle service that costs $18 per person. Curbside reservations at the airport are available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. After hours reservations must be made by calling (617) 567-8900. Online reservations can be made here to be picked up from hotels or homes.
The second option, the Back Bay Express, will be free to anyone who has a monthly MBTA pass but $5 otherwise. It leaves from Hynes Convention Center in Back Bay and also stops at Copley Square from 5 a.m. til 10 p.m. before heading to Logan Airport every twenty minutes. This new express bus will be in addition to the already existing Braintree, Framingham, Peabody and Woburn express busses to Logan Airport.
It is nice to see more options being available to people whether traveling or going to or from a business trip. When it comes to traveling, there is much already on the mind, and worrying about being stuck in Logan Airport should not be one of them.
