It's the beginning of the last week of March. Despite the month coming to an end, there are still plenty of employment opportunities to consider. If you're one of the many people who are still searching for work, have you ever consider the medical billing & coding industry? The two new jobs of the week are both within this field. Here are the details of the two openings.

The first job of the week comes from Methodist Hospital of Chicago. They are looking for a Full-time Medical Biller who will be responsible for collecting Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements by gathering, coding, and transmitting patient care information. The candidate for this position must have 2-5 years of experience, financial, computer/data entry, and time management skills. The second job of the week is an opening at Oak Brook-based company Judge Healthcare. This company is looking for a Remote Inpatient Certified Coder. Some of the responsibilities of this job entail accurately assigning ICD-9-CM and CPT codes for medical diagnoses and procedures and reviewing medical documentation. You must be RHIT, RHIA, CPC-A, or CPC certified to qualify for this job. You must also be an expert in a variety of coding specialities such as hospital outpatient, inpatient, HIM and physician.
