The first position is an opening for a Full-time Pediatric Nurse within a Park Ridge area company, American Mobile Healthcare. The role of the pediatric nurse is to provide comprehensive, age-appropriate care to patients aged approximately 30 days to 18 years. This person specializes in providing age-appropriate care for children with a variety of physical and mental disabilities and/or acute and chronic medical and surgical conditions. The next position of the week is an opening for an Inpatient Coder, this time in Chicago. This is a full-time contract position. Some of the requirements entail having a large bed and teaching facility experience. The person for the job should be proficient and have thorough knowledge of ICD-9-CM and CPT coding guidelines, DRG systems and documentation requirements. You must also have experience coding with transplants, cardiac cases, strokes, cancer records, and genetic diseases. Finally, you must have at least 3 years of experience.
