Two Kansas City businesses win small business award honors

Two Kansas City, MO businesses made the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s list of the top 100 small businesses in the United States.

DuraComm and Marathon Digital Services (MySmartPlans) each won Blue Ribbon Small Business Awards.

“The Blue Ribbon Award winners show that, even facing uncertainty and economic challenges, small businesses can grow and succeed,” said Thomas J. Donohue, the U.S. Chamber’s president and CEO. “They are America’s economic engine, driving growth and job creation all across this country.”

  • All 100 companies were recognized for their dedication to the principles of free enterprise and their contributions to restoring jobs and prosperity.
