Two Houstonians are top seeds in HTA Houston Open Super Championship tournament

Seeds have been named for the May 17-19 Houston Tennis Association Houston Open Super Championship Junior 16-18 Major Zone tournament, which is headquartered at Lee LeClear Tennis Center, 9506 S. Gessner.

Top seeds in the super championship boys 18 singles divisions are Henry Gordon of New Braunfels, Nicholas Ruzicka of Spicewood, Gavin Beach of Duncanville, and Cameron McCarthy of Georgetown. Racquel Lyn and Emily Chen of Houston and Margo Taylor of Dallas are the top seeds in the girls 18 divisions.

Top seeds in the super championship boys 16 divisions are Nate Eazor of Dallas, Alec Baskerville of Austin, Trey Hilderbrand and Blake Rohweder of San Antonio and Julian Sweeney of West Lake Hills.

Top seeds in the super championship girls 16s are Riley Reeves of No. Richland Hills, Adison Ford of Spicewood, Jolie Francis of Austin and Tiffany Hollebeck of Plano.

Entrants total 456. Matches will be held on courts at Lee LeClear, Homer Ford and Memorial Park tennis centers, Lost Forest Racquet Club, Sienna Plantation, Lakeside Country Club, Clements High School and Missouri City Recreation & Tennis Center. Viewing is free.
