Don’t be stuck only watching football this Super Bowl Sunday. Instead, grab your girlfriends and head out to one or both of the two very girly fashionable events that will be taking place in our region on February 5 – “Your Best Self in 2012: A Workshop for Women” and the Scarlett Alley “Engagement Party.”
First, join local cabaret star Karen Gross at “Your Best Self in 2012: A Workshop for Women,” at the Highland Farm Bed & Breakfast (former home of Broadway lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II) in Doylestown from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. It will feature fashion, beauty, and nutritional secrets so you can have your most fabulous year yet.
At this exciting workshop, meet and chat with experts like licensed aesthetician Judith D’Andrea, who will provide you with fabulous beauty and fashion tips, such as demonstrations on how certain styles will flatter your figure. Certified health coach Ali Shapiro will also be on-hand to offer advice on how to make healthy and lasting nutritional changes that will nurture both your body and soul. Lastly, you’ll be treated to a sassy cabaret performance by Karen to close the afternoon.
Tickets to this informative and fun workshop are $45.00 and can be purchased online. Light refreshments will be served.
The second event is a super girly “Engagement Party” at Old City’s Scarlett Alley from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Bring your entire bridal party and stroll through this charming gift shop while enjoying prosecco, Peroni, and pastries and perusing their wide selection of bridal registry items. Register with Scarlett Alley by February 14 and you’ll receive your eighth place setting free.
So shop, discover, and be pampered on Super Bowl Sunday. And you’ll still be home in time to cheer on your favorite team.
