Wednesday, two female state employees were fired for allegedly distributing the list of 1,300 alleged illegal immigrants to the media and law enforcement. One of the employees worked at the Department of Workforce Services (DWS) for about a year, and the other is a 10-year veteran. Officials said that a confession was received from at least one of the employees.
The Utah Attorney General’s Office will begin their investigation tomorrow. Mark Shurtleff said Wednesday that he has received the results of the DWS investigation, and will determine what charges if any will be brought against the two state workers.
“Our investigation will be thorough and swift,” says Attorney General Mark Shurtleff. “If there is evidence of wrongdoing, we will pursue the appropriate action.” He also said that results of their investigation will be released to the media.
A recent ABC 4 poll showed that 83% of the population doesn’t think criminal charges should be brought against the state workers who allegedly distributed the list.
Many of the names on the alleged illegal immigrant list had at least one legal resident living in the household, and the list centered on that person receiving state benefits (food stamps, welfare or medical care), said state officials Wednesday. Many of the legal citizens were children. 1,112 of the people on the list have been identified.
Authorities said that the two state employees who have been fired believe that what was taking place at DWS was wrong and that it needed to be brought to the attention of the media.

By God people something has to be done about this INVASION that is taking place on our southern border. If not we won't have a country! A “criminal probe” will be initiated? I was under the assumption that we could simply ignore those pesky laws we found to be inconvenient? While our Federal Government (under both Bush and Obama) ABSOLUTELY REFUSES to enforce our IMMIGRATION LAWS, at least these two patriots were willing to take action.
By the way, there is another government agency that will not hesitate to keep records on US Citizens - the IRS. This agency keeps all manner of records on, and will give an actual citizen a deep “rectal exam” if they want information. Fail to follow the IRS code (to pay for the ILLEGAL ALIENS, among other monumental wastes of money) , and these government workers will gladly seize your bank account, and forcibly remove an actual citizen from their house.

It was for their kids who were born here and are legal citizens. Before you open your ignorant mouths about something maybe you should do some actual reading first and research it so you dont sound like an ignorant moron on the internet!!!

All of the racists are buzzing again, just like every time a story about Mexico, illegal immigrants, Latinos, Muslims, or pretty much anyone who is "non-white" (non-pink?) gets published on the internet.
To all racists: look, we all know that you have had your golden age for the last few hundred years or so. Europe developed early technologically, they invaded a few countries, took some slaves, stole resources from others, and generally had a few good laughs. But, times are changing now. The rest of the world, especially the countries seen as "non-white", are starting to catch up now. Even in your beloved United States, Latinos, blacks, Asians, even Muslims are starting to catch up to whites in terms of population, economic status, and political power. Whites should learn to be nicer to these groups, particularly to the "illegal immigrants" (i.e. desperately poor people who come to work to avoid starvation) because these groups will be in charge in 40 years.
Not supporting illegals, but abusing your position and releasing information like that is not right either. They should be fired and made to serve so time in jail.

hello!!! the only reason the kids are legal is because the parents were here illegally and used our hospitality and kindness to not turn them away to have their kids here. now we are supposed to take care of their 13 family members.
