Spend a magical afternoon with the whole family or just on your own in this gem of a hidden corner by the intracoastal in Palm Beach: The Society of the Four Arts. (Drama, Music, Literature, Art) Wander thru the art gallery, the gorgeous sculptured and botanical gardens, the King library or children's library. You can take in a class, lecture, workshop, film, or see a concert in the charming auditorium hall. There is even yoga on Mon, Wed and Fri at 9 a.m. in the garden pavilion till May.
The gardens and grounds are a beautiful oasis, if you're looking for a quiet place to relax and read a book or stroll around then this is the place. The park is open all year, but the events and museum art gallery are only open till April. They start up again in Dec and Jan. The art gallery and exhibition is only $5 for admission and is located at the same place as the auditorium. The size of all the places to visit here are cozy and won't take all day to go thru or walk thru which makes it friendly for most people of all ages, even the parking is convenient. The library has classical charm, especially when you climb the stairs to the second floor, you'll feel you've stepped into another time. When you're finished enjoying your day at the Four Arts, you can go to City Place which is nearby over the other side of the bridge. You can enjoy upscale outdoor shopping, restaurants, juice bars, ice-cream, Panera Bread, and more. The beautiful cozy Harriet Himmel Theater as scheduled concerts at certain dates, and their is a Muvico Theater.
