..two can put ten thousand to flight

Greetings Beloved,

I'm sure my regular readers have noticed that I haven't written lately and long time readers have noticed - and commented - on my sparse writings. I made mention a few months ago that the Lord was working on some things in my life and I had no choice but to obey. Where he leads I must follow. I had a few interviews with some local religious and Christian entrepreneurs lined up for the next few months which, because of various circumstances, have not come to fruition. The simple fact is that my season here at is up. How do I know this? I'm glad you asked.

I had been asking the Lord for direction and guidance on many things in my life and I received it in a very unexpected way (as He often works). A few days ago I received a letter from a reader seeking my guidance and assistance on what he is dealing with. In his letter he referenced something I wrote in one of, if not my first, article for entitled One Can Chase A Thousand. To quote something I wrote:

"The bible says that one can chase a thousand and two can put ten thousand to flight (Deuteronomy 32:30). This then, is my mission. If I can use the gifts that God has given me to help just one person, and that one person can help just one person.....think of the tens of thousands of people who will be mounted on wings like the eagle."

As I have struggled to find my place and purpose for continuing here this reader blessed me beyond his knowledge by letting me know that I have indeed touched one. And that reader - who knows who he is - will go on to keep putting the men and women of God to flight.

Is this the end of my journey? Certainly not. I will continue to move in whatever direction and by any means that God has for me. Who knows? I might be back to in the future. I might not. But know this: you have the power as believers to put millions to flight.

Peace and Blessings,

p.s. Feel free to continue to email me. I promise no email will go unanswered.
