It is not too late! You can still be a lucky charm to an adorable shelter pet! Since March 1st, all three Two Bostons locations have been hosting their Shamrocks for Shelters drive. It ends on Tuesday, March 18th.
In order to participate, all you have to do is stop by any one (or more) of their three locations and pick out a donation shamrock at the register. Once you “share your green,” you will discover just what luck you will bring to adoptable animals in need at various shelters.
As an example, the Two Bostons Geneva store location will give their donations to Anderson Animal Shelter. Anderson’s plans to use the cash in order to afford nourishing food, warm blankets and other vital care supplies for the sweet animals in their care.
The two Naperville Two Boston’s store locations (Downtown on Jefferson Avenue and on 75th Street at the Springbrook Mall) will help to fund a crucial $100,000 kennel refurbishment project at the Naperville Area Humane Society (NAHS). Andy and AdreAnne Tesene, owners of all three Two Bostons locations, in conjunction with their friendly, helpful and caring staff made the decision to set their goal toward this effort of $25,000! View their NAHS video to learn more!
While you are in Two Bostons this weekend, you may as well plan to attend the 2014 St. Patrick’s Day Parade scheduled for this Saturday, March 15th. Don’t be too concerned about the weather, as this Parade is not for the faint of heart. It will go on rain or shine as it just happens to be one of the favorite downtown Naperville traditions!
Don’t forget to bring your canines with you, but first let Two Bostons know that you will be joining them for this great activity! All you have to do is email them at firstname.lastname@example.org. Do so soon so that they will be aware of how many pets and people will be joining their group. The families that join in this year will be qualified to receive a special gift valued at $100! Quite a lucky incentive!
As Andy and AdreAnne say with the Irish today, ‘May the road rise up to meet you…!’
If you are not lucky enough to participate in the events this weekend, no worries, Two Bostons is continually coming up with new and better ideas to get the community involved all the time! Stay tuned. New events will be happening shortly!
