Can you believe that it is already October? Two Boston’s Pet Boutique can. They are kicking off this wonderful fall month with their 4th Annual Adopt-A-Rama from noon until 3:00 p.m., at the Two Bostons Springbrook Pavilion location at 2523 West 75th Street in Naperville, Illinois.
The event is free and it is for the entire community. It was established in order to benefit homeless pets. There will be food, music, children’s activities that includes a giant bounce house and the on-site raffle, the key highlight of this year’s event from which all proceeds will be donated to the rescue groups participating at the Adopt-A-Rama. Dogs of all ages will be present for immediate adoption.
“The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) estimates that this country’s animal shelters currently care for 6-8 million homeless pets annually,” notes AdreAnne Tesene, owner and co-founder of TB. “Of this mind-boggling number, nearly four million are needlessly euthanized every single year according to the HSUS. To put that figure in perspective, the entire state of Iowa – where my husband and I are from – has a population of roughly 3.074 million people.” Thus Adopt-A-Rama is Two Bostons' way of helping to address this growing concern, uniting these deserving animals with loving homes!
Mrs. Tesene continues, “Our team at Two Bostons is absolutely committed to strengthening the bond between pets and their people. Ensuring the well-being of pets is our life’s passion. We want to do whatever we possibly can to help these deserving shelter animals find permanent, loving, and caring homes.”
Two Boston’s (TB) is once again partnering with local and regional shelters so that they can reduce the abandoned pet population. TB is the area’s leading pet care and wellness boutique. They stock specially-selected dog (and cat) products, foods, treats and nutrition supplements at each of its three locations.
The Adopt-A-Rama will feature representatives from more than 20 local and regional rescue groups and shelters. This includes the Midwest Lab Retriever Rescue and the Westie Rescue of Missouri. The family-friendly, free event will feature a diverse array of dogs in a range of ages, breeds, and sizes, all available for immediate adoption. Attendees are encouraged to bring their existing, well-behaved pets on a standard, non-retractable leash. On-site pet services are scheduled to include ear cleaning and nail trimming. In addition, manufacturer representatives will be on hand to share the latest information on pet nutrition, daily care and general wellness.
