Two big events at Variety children's charity

Variety, the Children’s Charity of St. Louis gives honor to Thelma Steward and Michael Neidorff as their Man & Woman of the Year for 2012.  Variety is planning to broadcast the names of the Man and Woman of the year 2012 at their yearly executives meeting tomorrow September 16, 2011.

Variety is preparing to show the executives a sneak peak of their making of “The Wizard of Oz,” that is going to be staged at the Touhill Performing Arts Center on October 21 through the 23.  While Variety was making “The Wizard of Oz, they also make a networked documentary on Youtube that tails two beginners of Variety Children’s Theater while they were in week two of preparing for their performances.

Tony Award Nominee Lara Teeter is the director of Variety’s “Wizard of Oz” which is their third yearly theater production.  Teeter has choreographed, directed, and performed for opera house’s and large regional theatre’s throughout the nation.
