Two asteroids, 2010 RX30 and 2010 RF12 come close to the Earth and create a buzz.
Early Wednesday, a small asteroid passed the Earth and another asteroid will pass the Earth this evening. NASA reported that the asteroids are not threatening and can’t been seen by the naked eye. NASA's Near Earth Program tracks possible hazardous comets and asteroids that come close to the Earth. NASA’s program manager, Donald Yeomans tracks asteroids and comets that are within 28 million miles from the earth.
The asteroid called 2010 RX30 is estimated to be 32 to 65 feet in diameter, and passed within 154,000 miles of Earth at 5:51 a.m. (Eastern) on Wednesday morning, according to CNN.
The second asteroid called 2010 RF12 is estimated to be 20 to 46 feet in diameter, will be closer than the first one and will pass within 49,088 miles of Earth at 5:12 pm (Eastern) tonight.
