Two alleged drug dealers arrested after car chase in Philadelphia

               Two males were arrested after a police chase yesterday in the Somerton section of Northeast Philadelphia. Police said that they were under observation, along Haldeman Ave. when they must have gotten spooked. They drove their vehicle at a high rate of speed and slammed into multiple parked vehicles in the vicinity of Barlow Street and Haldeman Ave.

              One male was yanked out of the vehicle and tazed, as the vehicle rolled to a spot in a near by apartment complex driveway. The other male was arrsted as he fled on foot across the street. Numerous city, state and federal agencies were on the scene in various capacities.

               Names have not been released. Witnesses report seeing police remove a large qualntity of  what appeared to be cocaine from the vehicle. The incident happened just prior to 2:00 PM.
