This coming Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, millions of viewers will be tuning in to watch The 55th Grammys on CBS. Like any intelligent business or brand they are getting social. Twitter released a list of all the Grammy attendees along with some fun Twitter music facts on their blog today. In addition, the Grammy is using two promotional hashtags to monitor the social media conversations -- #TheWorldIsListening and #grammys.
This gives viewers and social media users the opportunity to transport themselves backstage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Grammy also set up “mirrors” around the venue. These “mirrors” are going to be tricked-out iPads that will offer the stunning red carpet flaunters, presenters and winners to tweet a message. These messages could include a quote, a picture or something fabulous during the big Grammy moments.
Twitter Music Facts
Twitter has reported that 50 percent of all active users follow at least one musician. In addition, the top four most followed users are musicians. When it comes to discussions on this social media platform, music is the second-most talked about topic.
