Twitter name meme actually plot to steal passwords
Twitter users were having a ball with a new Twitter based meme calledTwitter Porn Name Game. But soon the Canadian Privacy Commission warned that this might be a scam to gather user passwords.
The Twitter name game used a variation of your pet's name, the first street you lived on or your first teacher's name.
"Each of those names is often used as a security question when accessing online e-mail services, using online banking sites, or even when speaking to your bank on the phone," the commission says.
Many Twitter users merrily volunteered the information, and even tweeted "Fido Main" or "Brutus Ballmer" or "Skeeter Magoo" as their newly assigned porn name.
But then word began to spread on the social networking site and by late evening the Twitter site had disappeared.
