Twitter is absolutely going crazy today, Jan. 22, 2013, as the news is confirmed that Beyonce did not actually perform the "Star Spangled Banner" yesterday at the inauguration. The NY Times has confirmed that Beyonce actually did lip synch the national anthem. People on Twitter are either adamant supporters of Beyonce or harsh critics reveling in the news.
There are still tweets that refuse to believe it, and then there are those who explain the common use of lip synch in various public venues. Here are a few of those tweets from Twitter this afternoon:
