Kanye West dedicated his 2010 VMA song to his mother but the lyrics paid tribute to jerks, scumbags, douchebags and a-sholes. Taking the stage in a bright red suit and countless gold chains, Kanye West's new song was the finale to Sunday night's Video Music Awards on MTV. West was the buzz at this year's show, and on Twitter, after last year's rant involving Taylor Swift, host Chelsea Handler called Kanye "big, black elephant in the room."
Taylor Swift performed a song onstage as well, which many are saying is about Kanye West. However, a Twitter indicates that Kanye won the song competition with a tweet that's making the rounds with the re-tweet button: "Dear Taylor Swift, making a horrible song about Kanye West does not change the fact that Beyonce had one of the greatest videos of all time!"
The lyrics give a possible reference to his rants with lines such as "I always find something wrong/ You been putting up with my sh-- way too long" and "I'm so gifted at finding what I don't like the most." Kanye then let loose with "Let's have a toast for the douche bags ... Let's have a toast for the a**holes ... Let's have a toast for scumbags..."
