Twitter and other social networks popular with pot sellers

Twitter and other social networks are becoming the legal pot sellers preferred way of marketing their product, according to Fast Company.

California medical marijuana clinics are tweeting what they have to offer and letting the legality of such use fall to the courts.

"BB Kush, NY Soma, SD Strom, Forrest G, Green C, Baby Crunch, Spy Diesel, buy 1/4 get gram free. Baked goods, Grams, Joints avail."

was tweeted by "ArtistsCollctve", a Hollywood marijuana clinic.

California allows the cultivation and dispensine of marijuana for medical purposes given that both the grower and consumer abide by state laws.

But advertising/marketing marijuana on Twitter or other social networks doesn't stop at state lines.

Therein lies the legal issue.

Here's what fFacebook says:

"We do not allow people to promote illegal activities on Facebook. Section 3.4 of the SRR states: You will not use Facebook to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory,"

So how will the social media networks handle the issue since they are based in California where it's legal? Follow along if you have a mind to as Twitter and other social networks sort through this sticky issue.

"Only in the last two weeks with a Twitter account has anybody started paying attention to us,"

Artists Collective director Dann Halem told Fox News.
