Until 2017, game live streaming service Twitch will be the place to go for all press conferences during Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Twitch, the "world's leading video platform and community for gamers", announced a partnership on March 6 with the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), making it the official live streaming service for E3.
Twitch chief revenue officer Jonathan Simpson-Bint says, "Live video has changed the video game industry in a fundamental way and transformed how gamers learn, communicate and share their passion for games." he went on to say that Twitch is looking forward to enhancing the E3 online experience for gamers, using news, original interviews, and behind the scenes footage.
Electronic Entertainment Expo 2014 will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 10 to June 12, and Twitch's E3 channel will be included in E3 Insider and E3Expo.com. Twitch will also have a booth in the South Hall during the convention.
