“Defiance” is an MMO, open world shooter from Trion Worlds and is still in closed testing. March 15 to March 17 however, one special Twitch streaming extravaganza can grant you access to this unreleased game. For Twitch broadcasters only, play “Defiance” over the weekend and stream the video through Twitch your Twitch broadcast site.
This is a great streaming opportunity for broadcasters looking to get a lot of viewers this weekend as well as for those excited about “Defiance”s impending release. Trion Worlds will be having one last Beta test on March. 22 before its release on April 2nd. Twitch broadcasters will need to go to www.defiance.com/TwitchPartners to register for access to the game from the “Defiance” dev team.
The broadcasting opportunity through Twitch is only available for PC but when the game is released it will be for Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 as well. “Defiance” is joining the rare ranks of the MMO shooter. It is also a tie in to the show “Defiance” on the SyFy channel.
Twitch users have the opportunity to broadcast “Defiance” before its release and before the NDA lifts until March 17, 9PM PST. This access is only available to the “Defiance” devs and Twitch broadcasters for a limited time. Because broadcasters are allowed to play the game under NDA VoD’s can only be used on Twitch until March 22.
