Twisted Terror Convention exceeds expectations

March 29 & 30, 2014 marked the first annual event for what will most likely be known for years as the Twisted Terror Convention. After the Wizard World Convention ended only a couple weeks before, this new horror-centered convention emerged bringing in some of the same crowds as well as a more dark and mysterious type as well.

Much like Comic-Con, various vendors and celebrities were in attendance for this convention that occurred at the DoubleTree Hilton in the Arden-Arcade district of Sacramento. Amongst the notables were Erin Gray (Buck Rogers in the 25th Century), Nicholas Brendon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Ashlynn Yennie (The Human Centipede), Tyler Mane (Halloween), Chandler Riggs (The Walking Dead) as well as local guests such as author Kevin Cathy (Vile Press Presents: Horrendous Tales), Deceased Art, Scattered Comics, and many others.

At many points during the two day event, the turnout exceeded maximum capacity. Due to phenomenal success of this convention, the second annual Twisted Terror Con is already booked for next year: March 28 & 29, 2015. For more information, visit http://www.sacstwistedterror.com/.
