Twins gave birth on the same day. The two Ohio teens welcomed their babies just hours apart at the same hospital. Identical twins 19-year-old Aimee and Ashlee Nelson both gave birth on Mon., Dec., 31, 2012 at Summa Akron City Hospital. Aimee had a 7lb, 2oz son whom she named Donavyn Scott Bratten. Two hours later, her sister Ashlee had a baby boy who weighed 8lb, 12oz at birth; she named him Aiden Lee Alan Dilts, reported FOX 8.
These identical twins consider themselves best friends, and they were delighted at the way things turned out. They had even asked doctors to induce labor two weeks earlier so they could have their babies at the same time. Although doctors refused their request, they got their wish. Their firstborn children will share the same birthday.
In an amazing coincidence, these twins gave birth the same day despite having due dates that were nearly one week apart. Both babies were delivered by the same doctor. According to 19 Action News, the proud father of Donavyn Scott Bratten is 20-year-old Matthew Bratten. Aiden Lee Alan Dilts is the newborn son of Cody Dilts.
