In a bizarre yet true story, twins have given birth to their children on the same day, with the newborn babies arriving just hours apart from one another.
In Ohio, two 19-year-old twins have showed us that the bond of having an identical sister can never be broken. And clearly, not even their own babies can alter their monumental connection.
According to Fox 8 Cleveland, Aimee and Ashlee Nelson are twins that were born 15 seconds apart from one another. And now, their children can say that their moms delivered them just two hours apart.
“We didn’t think it was going to be this close at all,” said Aimee, who admits she hoped this would be the ultimate outcome for her and her sister.
“We tried getting induced together but they wouldn’t let us. That was like two weeks ago, but it happened anyway,” added Aimee.
Aimee was the first twin to give birth, giving life to a son.
Next was Ashlee, who gave birth to a daughter.
Both Aimee and Ashlee were taken to Summa Akron City Hospital, where the twins gave birth on the exact same day.
