Twins Baby Names of the Day: Sirius and Alastor

Today's twin names of the day are: Alastor and Sirius . (This is a part of the weekly look at name pairing for twins or siblings to build on the hundreds of Baby Name of the Day articles I've written (read them all HERE.)

Both of these are names from Harry Potter, but not too unusual to stand out or be weird. however great for fans of the series to enjoy a little HP in their naming process.

Alastor, also spelled Alastair/Alistair/Alastar, is a Scottish variant of Alexander, which means defender of man. Sirius is the name of the brightest star, as seem from Earth.
