Today's twin names of the day are: Dru and Dax. (This is a part of the weekly look at name pairing for twins or siblings to build on the hundreds of Baby Name of the Day articles I've written (read them all HERE.)

Dru and Dax can both be boys names or Dru can be for a girl and Dax for a boy. These names are both only three lettters and begin with D but they don't have the old singsongy quality of twins names of yesteryear. Plus they're both hip names.

Dru is a short of Drury, Andrew, Drusus, and Drusilla. It means warrier, wise and loved one. Dax was a place name in pre-Roman occupied France.
