Gil Birmingham who is best known today for his role as Billy Black in the extremely popular Twilight Saga (movies based on the book series by author Stephenie Meyer), spent the weekend jamming out and hanging with fans at the Colorado Indian Market in Denver, Colorado.

The 29th Annual Colorado Indian Market and Southwest Showcase took place over the past weekend (January 22-24th, 2010) at the Denver Merchandise Mart in Denver, CO. It is a yearly event showcasing excellent Native American artists and entertainment. The next market is going to be in March in Arlington, Texas.

In a mutually enthusiastic meet-and-greet, Gil Birmingham and fans seemed to have an overall wonderful experience at the Indian Market over the weekend. He performed with Moses Brings Plenty and Brad Bearsheart on behalf of Project Lighthouse. Here are some of the highlights by three of Mr. Birmingham’s fans via his Facebook fan page.

"Rebecca H.

Julie K. You play a mean guitar. It reminds me of Eric Clapton! Summit should put your music on Breaking Dawn!
Rochelle K. I just met you @ the Colorado Indian Market this evening. Just wanted to say that it was a real pleasure meeting you. You were so personable and very kind. Thank you for the photo op...something I will cherish forever ;)"
