'Twilight' star calls 'True Blood' series 'more sexy'

Twilight Breaking Dawn Part I won't hit theaters in Scottsdale until November, but the stars are still talking about the upcoming release and the vampire phenomenon that the Twilight Saga has created with series like True Blood and Vampire Diaries finding success after the first Twilight film was released.  Digital Spy reported on Thursday that one of the actresses from the Twilight Saga actually watches True Blood, which airs on Channel 200 in Scottsdale. In fact, Elizabeth Reaser, the actress behind Esme Cullen, says that True Blood "seems so completely outside of the world of Twilight. I mean, theirs is so much more sexy."

True Blood found its popularity on HBO after the first Twilight film was released. Now the series is preparing to start its fourth season. Another actress, Nina Dobrev, recently said in an interview that her own series, Vampire Diaries, owes its success to Twilight. The two series and the film are all connected by the same theme - vampires. However, it is safe to say that the television based vampire dramas are wilder than the Twilight Saga films and books by Stephenie Meyer. True Blood has consistently pushed the envelope each season.
