It's a trend started by the 7th Harry Potter installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - take one book and turn it into two movies. And that's exactly what the makers of Breaking Dawn plan to do.
Breaking Dawn - Part 1 will be released in theaters November 18, 2011. Part II will take a whole 'nother year; it won't be released until November 16, 2012. The Twilight Saga movies have always had weird schedules. Eclipse came out less than a year after New Moon, after all. But the year-long wait between the two parts of one book has some fans upset and anxious, demanding something more similar to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which has an eight-month gap in between releases.
So far, speculation says that the cut-off point between the two Breaking Dawn parts will be when Bella turns into a vampire. Reports also say that November 16, 2012 is also the release date for Monsters, Inc. 2. Who will win? Vampires or monsters? 'Cuz they're obviously different.
