The countdown has begun for the highly anticipated release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 on DVD and Blu-ray. Be the first to get your copy and watch the astonishing conclusion of Stephenie Meyer's The Twilight Saga all over again with Bella, Edward and Jacob. Best Buy at Union Square will be open all night so feel free to hang out with fellow Twifans until midnight to pick up your copy and perhaps even grab the Best Buy exclusive Blu-ray Combo Pack with collectible locket key chain or The Twilight Saga 5-Disc Blu-ray Box Set with all five films. Since the store will be open 24 hours, stop by anytime Saturday until 10pm.
Several Target stores will be open late until 12:30 a.m. just for Twifans. Vouchers for the DVD and Blu-ray will be available at Guest Services starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013. Return at midnight to be one of the first of your friends to pick up your very own copy. Target will have the The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 with bonus disc, available on DVD and Blu-ray. Bonus disc includes 52 minutes of exclusive content that includes the cast discussing special vampire powers in "Tingles and Chills," the Volturi in "Judge, Jury & Executioner," and the new vampires in "Carlisle's Contacts." Watch how Bella and Charlie’s relationship evolved in "Being Charlie Swan" and feel the excitement from the 2012 Comic-Con and the world premiere with the cast and fans! If you rather stay home, pre-order the movie online and get a free 30"x40" polyester Breaking Dawn - Part 2 movie poster ($9.99 value).
Although there are no Walmart locations in the city, you can always trek out across the river to New Jersey.
